DARWIN, Australia – The Marrara Sporting Complex and TIO Stadium, used for Australian football, cricket, and the biennial Arafura Games, was recently equipped with Community R and WET Series loudspeakers specified by GHD.
National contracting company Eo Design, led by Eo's André van Stom, was awarded the project. The crew mounted 15 bi-amped Community WET Series W2-322L-64H loudspeakers on each truss on the grandstand canopy and pole-mounted 22 Community R-Series R.5-66TZ and five R.5HPT loudspeakers elsewhere.
QSC ISA800 Series amplifiers drive the loudspeakers and four QSC Basis 922UZ units are being used for system control. Eo managing director Peter Guest credited the stadium system for its sound quality and TAG, Community and QSC for providing product in a timely manner.
