OLD LYME, CT – Sennheiser supported the educational mission of ProjectExplorer.org, which seeks to provide a global cultural experience through film and multimedia materials aimed at fostering the next generation, providing ew 100-ENG G3 mic and transmitter sets.
By educating young people about the world around them, ProjectExplorer.org helps expand the horizons of primary and secondary school students while exposing them to diverse geographies and cultures around the world.

Through the use of free online videos, teachers are able bring students on a class trip to the pyramids of Mexico or through the rainforests of Borneo. These educational discoveries are made possible in part by charitable donations from audio specialist Sennheiser, which helps by bringing an exceptional sound experience to the video production.

ProjectExplorer.org's heavy travel schedule can be very demanding on equipment to say the least, noted Jenny Buccos, director and founder of ProjectExplorer.org.

"For our Jordan 2008 series, we tried another brand of wireless microphones, but found them unreliable and fragile. In fact, they barely made it through the first two weeks on the set."  That's when Buccos reached out to Sennheiser, a company that also believes in empowering young people through education and technology.

The ProjectExplorer.org team described Sennheiser's ew 100-ENG G3 mic and transmitter sets as "lightweight, useful in any environment, and always reliable for flawless sound."

ProjectExplorer.org set out for Mexico to produce its next series, which premiered Sept. 27. Using Sennheiser's ew 100-ENG G3 wireless system, they experienced interference-free reception from urban centers to the rainforest. The ME 2 clip-on mic delivered "crisp, clean sound," according to Buccos, who added, three weeks before the series launch, that "the crew had "noticed a world of difference in the quality of our programming in terms of sound."
