Sound Designers for “Fela!” and “Red” Honored at Tony Awards

NEW YORK – Sound designers for Fela! and Red were among those garnering top honors at the 2010 Tony Awards. Fela!'s Robert Kaplowitz won for Best Sound Design of a Musical. Adam Cork won for Best Sound Design of a Play for Red.
Denzel Washington was named Best Actor in a Play for Fences. Scarlett Johansson was named Best Featured Actress award for A View from the Bridge. Memphis won Best Musical while La Cage won Best Musical Revival.
