AVnu Alliance Expands, Holds First Plugfest

BEAVERTON, OR – The AVnu Alliance has expanded with  new manufacturer members, including Analog Devices Inc., Barco N.V., Pelagicore A.B., and Shure Inc. AVnu members promote the adoption of the IEEE 802.1 AVB (Audio Video Bridging) standards and also IEEE 1722 and 1733 for professional AV and other applications.
The AVnu Alliance also recently hosted its first member plugfest to ensure interoperability among AVB-enabled networked products offered by member companies.

"We achieved a high degree of interoperability among multiple independent AVB endpoint and switch implementations, an important milestone on the path to an AVnu certification program."
