GREENSBORO, NC — WorxAudio Technologies launched the first few in a series of instructional HD videos for existing and prospective customers. The new videos are available online at  www.worxaudio.com and YouTube www.youtube.com/worxaudio and are geared to answer frequently-asked questions.

Produced in 1080i HD (High Definition), each video is about 5 or 6 minutes long and is available for download. WorxAudio is also making the videos available on DVD by request, and the WorxAudio site also has links for downloadable versions of these videos for portable devices such as Apple’s iPhone, iPod Touch, iPod, and similar smartphones and media players, giving users access to them while in the field.

The first WorxAudio videos include a technical presentation for pro touring rigging and another such video for installation rigging, showing the differences between flying a concert system and making a permanent installation using the company’s TrueAim Grid. There is also a training video for use with WorxAudio ‘s PMD Series power amplifiers that shows the proper procedure for powering the system up, changing program settings and determining current draw. The video also offers a look at the connectors and various functions available.

WorxAudio Technologies also has a technical video that documents how to assemble and test a particular product, such as a TrueLine V8 line array. It covers the basic service and maintenance issues that audio professionals may encounter.

WorxAudio plans on offering several “technology overview” videos that feature the company’s various products — how a TrueLine V-Series line array (V8 or V10) operates, its various design considerations, basic operation, and how the loudspeaker system relates to competing products, for example. Similar materials are also scheduled for the WorxAudio TrueLine X-Series and the company’s Super Sub.
