GAINESVILLE, GA —Danley Sound Labs is introducing three new subwoofers at InfoComm: the TH-812, also dubbed the “Rock Monster;” the TH-221, or “Cine-Monster,” and the TH-212, a lighter-weight, portable unit.

The TH-812 is a tapped-horn subwoofer system with eight 12-inch long-excursion low-frequency drivers, designed for the touring market and touted for its sensitivity, low-frequency extension with ample output into the mid 20 Hz range, and power handling in a single enclosure. It could also reduce the number of cabinets and amplifiers needed for various events.

The TH-221 is a tapped-horn sub with twin 21-inch excursion transducers for low bass best suited to commercial cinemas and high-end home theaters looking to make the most of movie and concert audio. Other applications include touring, event staging and club systems.

The lightweight and portable TH-212 subwoofer, with two 12-inch waterproof drivers, can be ordered with handles and wheels for touring applications or used with a variety of fly points for permanent installations such as houses of worship, commercial theaters, live music venues and high-end home theaters. The 15-inch-high TH-212 can also fit under a stage, and a pair of these subs can work as a compact 30-inch high directional bass array.

All Danley speakers come in a weatherized finish as standard and powered versions are also available. Danley’s demo room, W204C, will be set up for attendees to hear the company’s subs and loudspeakers. Its booth is #6741.
