Event Details

A team of engineers from audio specialist tube uk worked through freezing temperatures, icy winds and snow to deliver sound systems for the two key areas of Bradford’s UK City of Culture Opening Event, RISE. The sold-out event, featuring 200 performers and seen by 20,000 over two nights, was held in Bradford’s City Park Jan. 10 and 11 2025. Along with aerialists, performers ranged from poets roaming through the crowds to rappers and DJs to a large community choir and the Airedale Symphony Orchestra.
