More details from RCF (www.rcf.it):
Designed for the demands of live sound professionals and high-profile installations, the SUB 9000 Series sets a new standard for low-frequency performance, versatility, and ease of use.
Alessandro Manini, R&D Director at RCF, emphasizes the significance of this new series: “The SUB 9000 Series represents a major milestone in RCF’s low-frequency sound reproduction. With advanced internal DSP, RDNet, RDTap and ACE technology, we’ve achieved an unprecedented level of integration between subwoofers and full-range systems, enabling sound engineers to deliver a pristine audio experience effortlessly. This is the result of years of research combined with the valuable feedback from many of our users.”
The SUB 9000 Series, comprising the single 19” SUB 9019-AS, the double 19” SUB 9029-AS, and the single 16” SUB 9016-AS, is the most powerful self-powered subwoofer line of the Italian manufacturer to date. The new Precision Transducers ultra-long excursion woofer design, paired with Class-D power amplifiers, delivers up to 8000W with a max SPL of 142 dB. All models are equipped with BMC processing to extend the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with remarkable linearity and sound integrity.
A standout feature of the series is the Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE), which enables factory-tuned presets for seamless pairing with RCF’s full-range speakers. This transforms sub-top systems into fully optimized three-way setups, ensuring tight, impactful bass performance and extended linearity across any environment.
The innovative RDTap technology, enabled through the RDTap app, simplifies setup by allowing contactless configuration, even when the unit is unpowered. This includes advanced options like cardioid configurations, ensuring quick and efficient deployment.
The tour-ready design of the SUB 9000 Series features weatherproof plywood cabinets with durable polyurea finishes, magnetic rain covers for connection panel protection, and robust powerCON TRUE1 TOP AC connectors for reliable power delivery. This rugged construction ensures durability and ease of use in demanding environments. With seamless RDNet integration for real-time monitoring and control, the SUB 9000 Series offers unparalleled depth, impact, and control, setting a new standard in professional audio performance.
