Tour Details
FOH caught Slayer guitarist Kerry King on his first solo tour, mixed at FOH by Chris “AK” Paccou, a 20-plus-year touring veteran (Carcass, Napalm Death, Volvod, Samuel, Exodus, Down, Dark Angel) who first started with Slayer and Kerry King in 2017. He’s using the Avid S6L with stock plugins and no outboard rack gear. Monitor engineer Matt Kogle has been mixing Kerry / Slayer starting with fill in work back in 2014, where he says he’s kept the show file as stripped down as possible, which simplifies things when he has needed to jump onto rental gear. Kerry King releases his first solo album, From Hell I Rise, in May 2024, and the North American trek includes shows in January and February 2025.
