George Strait packed Las Vegas’ 20,000-capacity T-Mobile Arena on Aug. 13 and 14 with the country faithful with an audio assist from longtime vendor, Dallas-based Onstage Systems. When the concert was announced in May, Strait tweeted, “The Ace in the Hole Band and I have been looking forward to this day for a year and a half. I cannot wait to see Vegas and all of my great fans once again. It’s been way too long.” The country star had originally planned his “Strait to Vegas” gigs for T-Mobile’s venue Aug. 28-29, 2020.
