Amate Audio’s G7, designed for installation projects, is a 120 W power handling, compact 2-way system with a 6.5” carbon-fiber membraned woofer and a 1” titanium dome neodymium tweeter within an EN54-24 certifiable, hexagonal-form reinforced ABS enclosure.

As striking in appearance as it is crystal clear, articulate and musical, the G7 boasts a wealth of features to set it apart in a market over populated with ubiquitous, me-too product. This includes an aluminum grille and hardware, outdoor ready construction and recessed connector panel with ergonomic protection cover, and integrated U-bracket mounts for the supplied wall mount. Four rear screw sockets provide compatibility with Amate Audio’s SB6 wall mount for dual-axis orientation.
The full range signal response is exceptional for such a compact loudspeaker, the result of a complex internal architecture that includes a custom designed HF phase plug and flare and bass-reflex design extending the LF response of the 6.5” carbon-fiber woofer. This exceptional transducer provides a frequency response and output volume equivalent to that of a ‘normal’ 8” driver. A 12 dB/oct second order crossover network, ensures a smooth response across the entire frequency range.
From an installer or AV integrator perspective, a remarkable feature of the G7 design is that both standard low impedance and 100V line applications are possible with the same loudspeaker model. Simply unscrewing the rear connector plate and replacing it with a T-G7 transformer plate enables the G7 for 100V line applications with switchable 5 W / 10 W / 20 W / 40 W power settings.
