LAS VEGAS – JBL Intellivox is showing new products at InfoComm 2016 in Las Vegas. The Intellivox HP-DS170 is the second unit in the new High Power Intellivox range, following on the success of the HP-DS370. It includes many of the same features and benefits but in a shorter array. The HP-DS170 boasts: An acoustic length of 1.7 meters (5 ft 7 inches), 10 x 6.5″ drivers & 2 x 1″ compression drivers, built-in DSP and amplification (12 x 100W), beam shaping technology (DDS), 105dB @ 30m (A-weighted, peak), and is IP55 rated, suitable for outdoor use.

Last April JBL launched the Rapid DDS interface, which allows Intellivox users to configure the DDS settings for Intellivox DS and DSX units directly from WinControl. At InfoComm16 JBL will preview the soon to be released GLL for EASE, which includes RAPID DDS. With the new RAPID DDS interface for EASE, consultants and system designers will, for the first time, be able to simulate Intellivox DS & DSX products directly from within EASE.
Also on show on the booth will be the Intellivox DSX380, the most recent member of the “standard” Intellivox range. Intellivox specialists Nick Screen and Keith Caggiano will be available on the booth to assist.
