More details from RCF (www.rcf.it):
The ART 708-A MK II is a truly unique product, presenting high-fidelity sound reproduction, careful acoustic design, high-quality neodymium transducers, and very linear and precise frequency response – perfect for voice monitoring and amplification. Everything in a surprisingly compact size.
The use of neodymium magnets guarantees better performance and easier transportation. The top-class compression driver with 1” titanium dome and 1,5” voice coil offers high output, transparent midranges and clear high frequencies. The 8” inch woofer with 2” inside-outside aluminium coil and powerful magnetic structure guarantees a fast and accurate mid-bass frequency range.

Technology and Features
High-fidelity components for a low crossover point
The ART 708-A MK II features a 8’’ high-power woofer that ensures linear response, as well as precise and deep low-frequency control.
The 1’’ compression driver is responsible for one of the key advantages of ART 708-A: a low crossover point that allows the driver to produce most of the vocal range. This leads to better impulse response, fast waterfall decay and superior efficiency.
A New Generation of Amplifiers
The 800 Watt digital amplifier (600 W for the woofer, 200 W for the compression driver) with innovative DSP processing results in very high output, low distortion and incredibly natural sound.
The amplifier presents both XLR/jack (Combo) balanced inputs, XLR output link, volume and a switchable EQ Mode (Flat/ Boost).
Full Protection and Stability
The cabinets of RCF’s ART Series are moulded on a special polypropylene composite material and designed to dampen down vibrations even at maximum volume setting.
A special transparent-to-sound foam backing on the inside of the grille helps protecting the transducers from dust, and a solid aluminium structure protects the amplifier during transportation and assists in heat dissipation.
Versatile Design, Extraordinary for Monitoring
The ART 708-A MK II is equipped with two M10 fly points, one at the top and one at the bottom, for installation purposes with a vertical “U” bracket.
The durable and lightweight cabinet of ART 708-A is ideal for rental companies and intensive usage on the road. Effortless portability is provided by limited weight and size, as well as a resistant top handle with rubber handgrips.
Finally, the symmetrical shape of the speaker allows an optimized monitoring in left or right position.
