DirectOut announces new Android remote software (iOS coming later) for its ANNA-LISA MADI analyzer/signal generator. The handheld device has LED traffic light style Go/No Go indicators and two MADI I/Os — coaxial BNC and SFP optical — and checks for AES10 conformity, sample rate, format, signal amplitude and jitter. The onboard generator has three presets for different test signals. The Android app connects via Bluetooth, offers advanced parameter analysis (including amplitude/jitter measurement); monitoring of AES3 channel state; bit scope for monitoring audio and subframe data; 128-channel level meter and output gain adjustment; and a routing matrix for both MADI I/Os and all signal generator presets.
