Event Details

The International is an annual Dota 2 electronic sports gaming tournament hosted by the game’s developer, Valve Corp. Some 16 teams from around the world competed in the event’s finals. The total prize pool was in excess of $18 million, with top finishers — the American team Evil Geniuses — taking the first prize purse of $6.6 million.
