B&C Speakers has added the ferrite magnet DE52, which features a copper clad aluminum wire voice coil mounted on a new high temperature polymer diaphragm, to its range of compression drivers.

“Our goal here was to fill the gap between small and large diaphragm high frequency drivers, offering excellent value for point source applications”, said Alessandro Pancani, Chief Technology Officer for B&C Speakers. “The 2” diameter diaphragm DE52 offers excellent performance in a 1.4” exit, wide response driver.”
The ferrite magnet DE52 features a copper clad aluminum wire voice coil mounted on a new high temperature polymer diaphragm. The phase plug is specifically optimized for the DE52 diaphragm.
