DELHI, India — Local rental company Thukral Productions mixed performances by several folk musicians for a banquet at a members-only club using an Allen & Heath GLD-80 digital mixer. The Jashan-e Diwali banquet and gala took place at Delhi’s members-only Stellar Gymkhana Club.

More details from Allen & Heath (www.allen-heath.com):

“The GLD-80 is a great audio experience at a simple price. The labeling is clear, the fader banks make sense, the control strip across the top is laid out well, and the surface is uncluttered. And the presence of a Select button that opens its accompanied window in the Touchscreen makes it very easy to handle. The design team even placed the Copy/Paste function buttons right at the front of the mixer, so there’s no need to scroll through windows, you can just do it on the fly,” explains product specialist, Shailesh Awasthi, from A&H distributor, SunInfonet.  “The ‘digital snake’ part of the system, achieved with either of the two Audio Rack stage boxes, handles the conversion from analogue stage sources to digital mix inputs and digital returns to analogue line outputs, and provide all the necessary connectivity in a single rackmount unit.”

Stellar Gymkhana is a multi-function venue containing several conference and banquet halls, sports facilities, restaurants, a spa, library, as well as accommodation.

“We were impressed with the turn up of so many beautiful people for the event. No doubt, the evening was enlightened with the awesome sound system by Allen Heath,” commented one of Stellar Gymkhana’s owners.
