TOTOWA, NJ — Peter Patel, owner of APB-DynaSonics (pictured right) noted that industry veteran Chuck Augustowski (center) has rejoined APB as director of sales and marketing. Augustowski will also assist Patel in seeking out new investors who will lead to the future growth and expansion of the company. Pictured left is APB manufacturing/service manager Luis DeJesus.
“I’m genuinely excited by this opportunity, having previously worked with the APB-DynaSonics team, and was intimately involved many of its successful products such as the MixSwitch (Console Switching Device), which has been adopted by many leading sound companies,” says Augustowski. “Obviously, the company was founded on the excellence of its analog console products, but we see a bright future ahead for our ProSpec line that’s targeted to the contracting market, as well as our planned new forays into digital technologies.
Augustowski began his pro audio career as the owner/operator of Brandy Brook Audio, a regional sound company in New England, where he was also a consultant to Allen & Heath. In 1981, he began a long stint as VP and sales manager to Allen & Heath USA and later left to found Crest Audio’s console division as VP/product manager, followed by co-founding APB-DynaSonics as VP/director of sales and marketing in 2004.
