SEATTLE, WA — Music Group reported that, due to a failure of one of its key communications systems, all company email services were out of commission as of August 19, 2013. This affects all @music-group.com email addresses across all brands including Behringer, Bugera, Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound. In addition, the company noted that users may experience intermittent performance when using company websites.
The company said the affected system is located in its data center in Asia, although it is not clear at this time whether the outage was weather-related, as the region is experiencing seasonal typhoon activity. Music Group invoked emergency backup email addresses for use by end-users needing to contact the company’s service department for service and technical support needs: [email protected] and [email protected] may be used until further notice. General and corporate inquiries are being temporarily diverted to [email protected].
