LAS VEGAS — The 2013 Parnelli Nomination Form is now open through late September — Sept. 27, at 5 pm PST, to be precise. All FRONT of HOUSE readers now have the opportunity to choose the people, companies and products that will appear on the final 2013 Parnelli ballot. That ballot will be posted online for voting throughout the month of October. The awards ceremony is set for Nov. 23, 2013.

This year’s Parnelli Awards, set for Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Mirage Resort in Las Vegas, will honor Mark Engebretson with the Audio Innovator Award, George Travis with the Lifetime Achievement Award and Eric Pearce with the Parnelli Visionary Award. All of the other Parnelli Awards categories are anyone’s guess right now — and it all starts right now with a nomination from readers like you.
So be sure to go to www.parnelliawards.com/nominate and make sure your voice is heard. There, you can nominate your choice for best FOH mixer, Monitor Mixer, Sound Company, System Tech and more. There are also awards honoring companies involved in Lighting, Staging, Set Construction, Video, Rigging, Pyro, Trucking and Freight Forwarding.
Separately, FRONT of HOUSE readers also have been voting for the finalists in the annual competition for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year. Those winners, in five U.S. regions and all of Canada, will also appear on the Parnelli awards ballot in October.
