SHIRAHAMA, Wakayama, Japan — Shirahama Adventure World, an amusement park and zoo, upgraded its facility with a new sound system including One Systems 106IM and 103IM speakers. One Systems’ distributor in Japan, M and N Co., Ltd, designed the system and oversaw the project, and Toyo Giken Co., Ltd installed the gear.
More details from One Systems (www.onesystems.com):
Shirahama Adventure World encompasses one million square meters, and its zoo houses over 140 wild animals. Along with petting zoos and various performances throughout the day, Adventure World also offers roller coaster rides, a Ferris wheel, water slides and more.
The previous sound system was installed several years ago and did not cover the park’s entire main gate area. The park’s manager and maintenance supervisor, Mr. Tadashi Kato, began searching for more powerful, intelligible, and fully weatherproof speakers.
Working closely with Mr. Kato, M and N Co. recommended One Systems speakers based on their experience of using One Systems for previous installations, as well as for the speaker’s stainless steel grilles, weatherproofing and solid durability.
M and N also selected One Systems’ the compact 103IM and 106IM models to be installed on poles and outdoor wall areas using One Systems brackets and other suspension hardware.
One Systems speakers were an easy choice for M and N because of the brand’s superior sound quality and exceptional intelligibility for both voice and music reproduction. “The placement and output strength of the new system now fills the entire main gate area with clear speech and music,” says Masaki Morimoto, President of M and N. “These speakers really have the power to cut through the daily crowd noise. The client is very pleased with the results and commented favorably on the high intelligibility and wide frequency response.”
“One Systems’ loudspeakers deliver impressive output and have very versatile mounting options that are providing outstanding results for the Shirahama Adventure World,” notes Doug MacCallum, President of One Systems.
