BERLIN — AFMG announced the release the new version of their real-time audio analysis software SysTune on May 1, a free update for existing users. AFMG also announced changes in its prices and licensing to make SysTune more affordable to a larger group of users.

Delay Analysis, Web-Interface and AUBION X.8 Integration
A large amount of research and work has gone into one of the new plugins called ‘Delay Analysis.’ From a set of captured individual measurements, SysTune automatically calculates optimal delay times between mains and subs or between main and delay loudspeakers, giving precise information on polarity and predicted overall system performance. “Never before has it been easier to solve the polarity question and find the correct delay time for your system!” Stefan Feistel, physicist and Managing Director of AFMG, is excited. “You can save about 70% of time on measurements by one quick calculation using our new Delay Analysis plugin.”
Efficient use of tools has always been a key aspect of AFMG software. No marks for guessing that SysTune´s new Web-Interface will become an audio technician´s most-loved feature during soundcheck. Just about any mobile device with a modern browser can be used to remotely watch and control live measurements from anywhere within reach of your WiFi access point. Store and name overlays, start and stop measurements, etc. Now you can walk through the hall, microphone in one hand, your phone in the other and gather all necessary measurements without running back and forth to the computer. Released only five months ago, the AUBION X.8 has been getting a lot of recognition as the new high-end 8-channel measurement interface on the market. With the release of SysTune 1.2 this will continue to increase. New Pricing and Licensing
In the past, SysTune has been sold in so-called dual licenses. Technicians have frequently inquired about the possibility to acquire only a single license at a reduced price. With the release of SysTune 1.2, AFMG complies with this wish. In the future, users needing only a single license will benefit as SysTune becomes more affordable, while existing users will retain the full number of licenses they own.
In addition to the reduced entry level prices, AFMG grants a 10% discount on any two licenses even of different programs purchased simultaneously.
