RPA Uses Kaltman Creations Shielding to Solve Interference Problem

ATLANTA, GA – A Kaltman Creations customer, RPA Electronic Solutions, recently ran into a RF interference problem at a trade show where the WLAN space was saturated with wireless devices from the nearly 1,000 exhibitors.  At the show, RPA was to demonstrate a new man-wearable wireless system that they had developed as part of a U.S. Army SBIR effort.

RPA’s approach to avoid the problem was by incorporating a RF shielded room within its booth.  The planned demonstrations were extremely important to both RPA and its Army customer.

Their research led them to the Kaltman Creations Aaronia-Shield material, boasting much higher RF attenuation in the 802.11g and 802.11n RF space, where their equipment would operate.  This also happens to be the space where most of the other exhibitor’s WLAN equipment operated.

“The Aaronia-Shield worked flawlessly during the entire conference and gave us the ability to fully demonstrate our training solution with great success,” said RPA president Rick Pray.
