NORTHRIDGE, CA – Soundcraft is bringing its "Mixing With Professionals" series to the U.S. for the first time. Gert Sanner, FOH engineer for Deep Purple, who has previously served as seminar leader at Soundcraft's U.K. factory, will travel to the Harman campus in Northridge, CA to discuss his use of Soundcraft digital consoles in a live environment.
"We're extremely excited to have Gert at our first session in the U.S.," said Keith Watson, marketing director for Harman Mixing Group. "With his professional experience and mastery of Soundcraft desks, Gert has so much to offer to seminar attendees that you just can't fit in a technical manual."
"I've been using Soundcraft consoles because of their sound quality, ease of use and onboard effects," said Sanner. "As you can imagine, being the person responsible for the concert sound of one of the world's major rock bands is not for the faint of heart. The Vi6 and other Soundcraft consoles have a host of well-thought-out features that are geared towards live sound mixing. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge at this seminar."
