REGGIO EMILIA, Italy — RCF Group announced on Sept. 4, 2018 that it is acquiring Eastern Acoustics Works (EAW), headquartered in Whitinsville, MA, from LOUD Audio LLC, owned by Transom Capital Group. RCF noted that EAW will operate as an independent entity under its ownership, led by current EAW president TJ Smith, who welcomed the move.
RCF Group, based in Reggio Emilia and Bologna, Italy, with subsidiaries in the U.S. and Europe, operates under the companies RCF and AEB Industriale (dB Technologies). The acquisition of EAW is expected to further the company’s prominence in designing, producing and selling products and systems for professional audio and public address installations.
