Lenny Kravitz’s 2024-2025 ‘Blue Electric Light’ Tour Includes DiGiCo Consoles at FOH and Monitors

WORLD - Laurie Quigley and Josh Mellott have been using DiGiCo Quantum852 consoles at FOH and monitors for Lenny Kravitz’ 2024-2025 Blue Electric Light tour. Sound Image has been supplying the control package for the tour, which supports Kravitz’ latest album.

FRISCO, TX - The 60th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards took place May 8 at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, TX. Pictured here is Reba McEntire, who returned as host and also performed during the ceremony. She spoke and sang into a custom blinged AD2/N8/S Nexadyne capsule. ATK/Clair Global also provided 28 channels of Axient Digital Receivers and 32 channels of PSM1000 along with 120 beltpacks.

The Freedman Group Acquires Lectrosonics

SYDNEY - The Freedman Group, parent company of audio brands including RØDE, Mackie, Aphex, SoundField, and Event Electronics, announced the acquisition of Lectrosonics, a globally renowned U.S. manufacturer of professional wireless audio systems on May 8, 2025. FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ - The Barnert Temple, which opened its current location in Franklin Lakes, NJ in 1987, is home to Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, which was established in Paterson, NJ in 1847. ComNet Communications recently upgraded Barnert Temple’s audio system with 1 Sound’s Tower LCC84 loudspeakers and SUB12 subwoofers.

L-Acoustics DJ Goes from Stereo to Spatial

MARCOUSSIS, France - On May 8, L -Acoustics announced L-Acoustics DJ, a new solution that promises to transform traditional stereo DJ setups into fully immersive spatial audio experiences. L-Acoustics DJ is set to ship in fall 2025.

SLAGELSE, Denmark - Slagelse Musikhus, a powerhouse-turned-cultural hub in western Denmark, installed Meyer Sound’s new Ultra-X80 point source loudspeakers. Working in tandem with Meyer Sound’s 2100-LFC low-frequency control element, the new system brings enhanced clarity, headroom and low-end extension to the venue’s main hall.

TILBURG, Netherlands - Ultrasound Productions provided RCF HDL audio systems two stages at the 2024 Fest in het Park Festival. For the 5,000-capacity main stage, the setup included RCF HDL 50-A 4K loudspeakers and SUB 9007-AS subwoofers. For the 1,500-capacity Foute Feestje Stage, HDL 30-A loudspeakers were paired with SUB 9004-AS subwoofers.
