ATHENS, Greece – The National Bank of Greece on Stadiou Street is located in the former building of the first Athens Stock Market. Constructed around 1890, the neoclassical structure provides the National Bank of Greece with a cultural venue for exhibitions, events, presentations and meetings. Athens-based Automation Broadcasting Audio Security (A.B.A.S.) designed and installed an audio system that includes Community ENTASYS ENT220 column line array loudspeakers.

NORTH ADELAIDE – The Adelaide Oval, home to the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) and South Australian National Football League (SANFL) as well as one of the premier entertainment venues in the country, recently underwent a major expansion and upgrade that included the installation of a new sound reinforcement system featuring EAW QX Series loudspeakers.

GDANSK, Poland– The new European Solidarity Centre has opened next to the Gdansk shipyards in Poland. Built over five stories, it has been designed to give the impression of walls cracking and tilting, and is covered in rust-colored sheet metal resembling a ship’s hull. Conceived as an homage to former president, Lech Walesa, it represents a symbol of the peaceful victory of the Solidarity (NSZZ Solidarność) movement of which he was leader. Providing a fully integrated, world-class audio system, ESS Audio provided a variety of solutions from Harman Professional.

NASHVILLE – Trey Smith, who has been working with Sara Bareilles since 2008, noted how Nashville-based Spectrum Sound has been also supporting the singer/songwriter’s needs as her touring production has grown. The full production for the artist’s 2014 Little Black Dress tour included flown L-R arrays of d&b audiotechnik V8 components, with the 120-degree horizontal V12 cabinets at the bottom.

LUBLIN, Poland – Located in the provincial capital city of Lublin in eastern Poland, Arena Lublin is a new 15,500 seat capacity football stadium. Built on the land of a former sugar factory, the stadium’s surrounding area has been fully landscaped and is bordered by trees, with lawns to the adjacent river. Home ground to the football club Motor Lublin, the city is proud of its new landmark venue.

SYDNEY – For three years, Entertainment Installations has supported the two-month “Twilight at Taronga” summer concert series. This year, the soundco tamed off-site noise issues with Martin Audio’s MLA system. The 17 concert series typically draws close to 1,600 to a twilight setting as the sun sets beyond the nearby Opera House and Harbor Bridge.

AMSTERDAM  – Paradiso, a well-known live music venue, recently upgraded their sound reinforcement system with an Adamson Energia PA system. Marian Emmen, head of technology and production for the club, worked with principal sound engineer Dick Versteegh on the upgrade. They also got an assist from Adamson’s director of European operations, Jochen Sommer, and also from Ed De Bree, owner of Adamson’s distributor, Sound & Light Import.
