PLASA Announces Restructuring

LONDON – PLASA, noting ongoing merger activities and the end-of-year departure of European executive director Ruth Rossington, announced additional restructuring. Starting Oct. 1, CEO Matthew Griffiths will temporarily oversee the U.K. and North America Events divisions. L.A. Rising Music Festival Features Rage Against the Machine, Massive Sound System

LOS ANGELES – The nine-hour L.A Rising festival drew more than 60,000 to the Los Angeles Coliseum for a rare appearance by a reunited Rage Against the Machine performing along with Muse, Rise Against, Lauryn Hill, Immortal Technique and El Gran Silencio. The concert was widely noted for the intensity of the performances, delivered via more than 250 Harman JBL VerTec line array loudspeakers and 152 Crown Audio I-Tech HD Series power amplifiers.
