Eastern Acoustic Works announces its EAWmosaic iOS app for the iPad. The free app lets users predict, control and monitor an entire EAW Radius system from an iPad from anywhere in the venue. Further, a single cable can also provide multichannel audio from any Dante-enabled source (i.e., a FOH mixing console such as the Mackie DL32R). End users can create system design proposals, complete with acoustical predictions, in minutes while standing in the design space.

Tuacahn Center Comes Back to L-Acoustics

IVINS, UT – The Tuacahn Center for the Arts in Utah’s Padre Canyon has moved from its old dV-DOSC system to a new Kara rig. MANAUS, BRAZIL – Rental company Gabisom turned to a K-array system to solve some sound reinforcement challenges for the Amazonia Live opening show in the Amazon rainforest. NEW YORK — Masque Sound is providing a custom audio equipment package for Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Paramour’ now running on Broadway. The biggest challenge faced – and solved – by the designers was the acoustics of the Lyric Theatre itself. The theatre has been beautifully renovated but had some acoustical hindrances. Masque Sound solved it with a custom PA system of KV2 Audio speakers, along with other gear.
