DPA and KLANG:technologies’ Immersive In-Ear Solution

A new DPA and KLANG:technologies system lets live event teams immerse singers and musicians in their onstage performances, utilizing DPA’s 5100 Mobile Surround Microphone and KLANG’s Immersive Mixing Processor. In addition to the benefits of KLANG’s panning capabilities, the DPA surround mics replace the need for large quantities of microphones to capture the entire environment. Dedicated presets can be integrated through the KLANG:app control application for all KLANG immersive in-ear mixing processors.;

E-V MTS Series

Electro-Voice expands its sound solutions for stadiums and sports venues with the MTS series of full-range, high-output, long-throw, point-source loudspeakers. Each MTS model has four 15” woofers and dual coaxial MF/HF compression drivers. The system can generate more than 151 dB peak SPLs with exact directivity for very-long-throw applications. Sixteen available models offer various degrees of directivity, including two cardioid systems. A lossless Hydra waveform feeds a CD waveguide for pattern control below 350 Hz.

IFBlue IFB Receiver/Dock Charging System

IFBlue, a new value-priced brand from Lectrosonics offers a low-cost IFB (Interruptible Foldback) receiver pack and dock charging system. The new IFBlue receivers are compatible with Lectrosonics IFBT4 transmitters, or any Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters operating in IFB compatibility mode, and offer 10 presets, easily programmable from the backlit LCD front panel. Units operate on UHF TV and VHF frequencies. The docking system can charge four receivers simultaneously. MSRP for the IFBR1C receiver pack is $499; the CHSIFBR1C charging dock is $299.

L-Acoustics SB10i Compact Subwoofer

Delivering the same sonic signature of its much larger SB Series subs, but from a vastly scaled-down enclosure, SB10i is barely larger than two side-by-side shoe boxes. A single 10-inch driver offers 27 Hz bandwidth with 124 dB maximum SPL, yet measures only 21.3” x 21.3” x 6.7” and weighs just 33 pounds. Sonically corresponding with L‑Acoustics X4i and 5XT ultra-compact coaxial speakers, the new sub has an elegantly discreet design, and is available in RAL colors.

Renkus-Heinz Expands Iconyx Compact Series

Offering big performance in a small package, the new Dante-equipped Iconyx Compact RD-1 puts the flexibility and directivity of Iconyx into a size that can disappear into most any space. Its combination of 3-inch, full-range drivers and a state-of-the art 12-channel amplifier, along with Renkus-Heinz’ experience in beam-steering arrays, leads to stellar performance from a small array. The RD1 models add improved interoperability and flexibility through Dante audio-over-IP and bring new control options with integration into Crestron remote control solutions.

Shure Microflex Dual-Cartridge Gooseneck Mic

The new Microflex MX415 Dual-Cartridge Gooseneck Mic offers versatility and a streamlined appearance for applications where great sound and great looks go hand-in-hand. Mounted to a single gooseneck, the dual cartridge design captures every word via two cardioid capsules, each to a separate output preamp, ensuring reliable, multi-feed audio with a streamlined appearance in critical use applications. The integral shock mount offers <20 dB of isolation, and a full accessory kit supports temporary or permanent installations.

Whirlwind ROK Remote Outlet Controllers

Ideal for controlling AC power to projectors, video displays, powered loudspeakers, lighting fixtures, etc., the ROK1 switches single-phase 120 VAC; the ROK2 is used for switching single-phase 240 VAC or two legs of 208 VAC three-phase. Devices are activated by a user-provided, maintained dry-contact closure that energizes a relay coil with an internally generated 24 VDC control voltage. Both units include decorator-style faceplates and can be installed in standard electrical boxes or mounted at equipment locations along with receptacles in multi-gang boxes.

Yorkville EXM Mobile 8 DC-Powered P.A.

The EXM Mobile 8 wedged, lightweight 3-way, battery-powered speaker with Bluetooth technology contains an 8-inch woofer and a coaxial mid-range and HF driver.
