HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – Keith R. Klawitter, founder of KRK Systems Inc., has announced a new venture, KK labs, for live professional markets as well as recording studios.
KK labs' products include the DS8 studio monitor, TAZ15c stage monitor, DSP control and Class D power amplifier modules. The company is also talking up the DS8, a DSP/Ethernet-controlled, self-powered, 8-inch, two-way studio monitor.

"We had a great coming out party at NAMM," said Klawitter. "Everyone was hyped up about how great the DS8 sounds and was glad to see I was back making monitors. It was a great feeling, and fantastic to see all my old friends. In parallel with our studio systems, we are developing and designing a full line of very high end live PA stage systems, to bridge that sonic gap between live and studio."

Klawitter has over 30 years in the pro audio industry, having started out in 1977 as a recording, technical, and mixing engineer.
