EDMONDS, WA – This year marks the 41st year for the DeMiero Jazz Festival, which brings 1,800 jazz fans together in Edmonds, WA every March. The festival spans four venues, with 1,500 participants from 60 performing jazz choirs. For five years running, Wayne Pumphrey, producer/chief production officer of the festival and owner of Edmonds Pro Audio, has brought in Earthworks microphones to capture the performances.

WASHINGTON, DC -- One Systems’ On Point Audio series loudspeakers are now installed in multiple locations of VIDA Fitness Center throughout Washington, DC. While all the locations are not identical in physical layout, the goal was to have each of their locations offer their customers the exact same fitness experience, all the way down to the audio, in which loud music and the speech of the instructor each needed to hold its own.

HOUSTON — Professional Wireless Systems (PWS) worked with Karl Voss and the NFL Game Day Coordinators (GDCs), to supply RF management for the NFL referees and the on-field entertainment at this year's Super Bowl LI in Houston. In total, the PWS team operated close to 100 of the 1,000 frequencies being used and guaranteed that spectrum users were not interfering with one another during the Super Bowl’s entertainment segments.

The previous PA was put into place almost 25 years ago, and the church needed a new system with intelligibility for the worship services of Purpose Driven Live author Rick Warren along with other congregational events.

TYLER, TX — Green Acres Baptist Church, based in Tyler, TX is using tools from Waves Audio for its choir, orchestra, band and pre-recorded local cable channel broadcasts. Philip Hagood of audio provider Morris says, “We wanted to provide Green Acres with the option of external plugins on their FOH and monitor consoles in the live environment. They had been using Waves for years in studio mixing and achieved awesome results, so it was a logical step to integrate that into their live mixing."

Point Source Audio Selected As Exclusive Comms Headset For Carolina Panthers’ Production Team

PETALUMA, CA—The Carolina Panthers’ critically acclaimed in-house production team known as Panther Vision will standardize on Point Source Audio's CM-i3 Comms Headset for its camera team to ensure consistency in audio levels between the camera operators and the production control room throughout the broadcasts. Berkley Dickens, head broadcast engineer for Panther Vision, made the strategic decision after conclusive on-the-field success and glowing reviews of the headset’s ability to improve hearing and reaction time for its production staff.
