ANAHEIM, CA - Adamson Systems Engineering, a first-time exhibitor at the 2018 NAMM Show, won't just be dipping its toe in the water. The company plans on making some big waves at the event, which runs from Jan. 25-28 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Along with Adamson's S-Series of compact tour-grade loudspeakers, including the S10 two-way, full-range line array cabinet and complementary S119 subwoofer, on display at booth (#17305), Adamson will lead a training session as part of the inaugural AES@NAMM educational program.

Yamaha PM10 Tours with Pentatonix

NEW YORK - A cappella group Pentatonix has been taking the show on the road from Washington DC to Boston to celebrate their new CD, A Pentatonix Christmas. Mark Woodcock, FOH engineer, has been using a Yamaha Rivage PM10 to optimize the mix for the holiday tour, with support from Clair Global. Acknowledging that there are not a lot of inputs on the Pentatonix show, Woodcock said he opted for the PM10 for its combination of ease-of-use and the "warm and smooth" quality of its pre amps.

RIVERTON, KS - Riverton High School recently completed a new gymnasium fitted with a new audio system. The school district hired Joplin-based A/V integration firm Total Electronics Contracting (TEC) to design and install a high-impact sound reinforcement system for the new gymnasium. LAS VEGAS - This is it - the last chance to vote for the 17th annual Parnelli Awards. Voting from readers of FRONT of HOUSE and PLSN magazines will continue until Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at 12 noon (PST). After that, the votes will be tallied and envelopes and awards prepared for the 17th annual gala, to take place Jan. 26 at the Anaheim Hilton in Anaheim, CA. The event, which begins at 7 p.m. after a cocktail reception kicks things off at 6 p.m. is hosted by Tony Levin and honors Bobby "Boomer" Thrasher, Jonathan Smeeton and John Stadius with this year's Lifetime Achievement, Visionary and Audio Innovator awards.
