Mirizio Microphone Mount Update

New Gear

Since its original release, the Mirizio Microphone mount, designed to simplify microphone mounting in grand pianos with the lid closed, has been updated with a few changes. The company announced that, with the V3 version, all parts that touch the instrument are coated with felt, "because rental houses often frown on clamps or tape that can mar the harp of the piano," according to the company. In addition, all aluminum parts are anodized black and etched with the name and logo for a timeless finish. The plate screws are shorter so they don't protrude, and the company also offers a new storage case option.
