; "Doug Simpson") LAS VEGAS - Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro) named Doug Simpson to head a new sales initiative geared toward providing the Las Vegas hotel/hospitality market with access to all of GC Pro's services. GC Pro Director Rick Plushner made the announcement.Doug Simpson has over 20 years of experience using and selling professional audio and video gear, and has lived and worked in the Las Vegas market for six years. Most recently, Simpson was the regional manager for MDM Group Inc, where he managed all aspects of the convention services division.
Simpson has also worked for Matrix Visual Solutions (2005-2007) and in television as a producer/account executive in New York for U.K.-based London International Television. Before that, Simpson was a Sonic Solutions rep for the Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Colorado markets, doing business as Studio Solutions, mostly based in Dallas, Texas. Prior to that, Simpson worked Crouse-Kimzey Co.
