Meyer Sound Cinema System Makes U.S. Debut PDF Print E-mail
Meyer Sound Cinema ExperienceGULF BREEZE, FL - The first installation of a Meyer Sound Cinema Experience system in two U.S.-based commercial theatres was completed recently, located in Gulf Breeze and Pace, Fla. Both systems, at The Breeze and The Ridge Cinemas, were used for the first time during the opening of Alice in Wonderland in 3-D on March 5.

"Not only was the retrofit relatively painless but the results take cinema sound to a whole new level," said Brian Smith of Advanced Media Design Systems, which installed the cinema system. "Audiences will definitely now have a superior sound experience that will bring them back to the movies."

Based on the Acheron screen channel loudspeakers, the Meyer Sound Cinema Experience system is part of an integrated line of scaleable cinema systems. From sound design rooms to re-recording stages to movie theatres, this line of self-powered loudspeakers provides ample headroom with low-distortion and is designed for accurate translation to standard cinema systems. Soundtracks can be reproduced exactly as they were intended to be heard.
