Sennheiser Hosts Sound Logo Competition

OLD LYME, Conn. – Sennheiser is hosting a sound logo competition in which people all over the globe can submit audio clips through July 17. The logo will be chosen as Sennheiser’s official acoustic trademark. The chosen finalist will take home 5,000 euros, as well as an optional 30,000 euros if Sennheiser acquires unlimited rights to use the winning logo.

Thelonius Monk Institute Jazz Concert Grooves with NEXO

BUENA PARK, Calif. ─ United Airlines headquarters employees were treated to a private performance by legendary Grammy award-winner Herbie Hancock, along with the Thelonius Monk Institute of Jazz band, on the front lawn of their Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based headquarters. Gand Concert Sound provided a NEXO GEO S12 line array system, flying six boxes per side using NX242 processors with ES-4 expansion cards and CD-18 subs powered by Yamaha PC-9501 amps.

Their latest tour, “Jumping All Over The World” was a high-energy techno extravaganza. Czech rental company, RentalPro, supplied full audio, lighting, laser, video and staging equipment, including two Innovason Sy48 digital mixing consoles equipped with an LX6464ES soundcard.

Immanuel Bible Church Installs Studer Console
