The arena is home to Ball State’s basketball and volleyball teams, as well as a variety of concerts and university events. Because of spatial constraints in the existing structure, IRC Audio chose VerTec VT4887 compact line arrays for their small size and light weight.

Memorial Auditorium Installs New Sound System

BUENA PARK, CA. - A new sound system has recently been installed at the Memorial Auditorium in Pittsburg, Kan. The system brings the auditorium performance level up to the demands of its extensive calendar of events. Prior to the new system installation, the theatre had been experiencing several problems: It had not been updated since 1984 except for some “piece-meal” repairs over the years, patrons complained about the system being noisy and hard to comprehend, and rental systems were required for some of the visiting performers.

BATON ROUGE, LA – Premier Production and Sound Services (PSS) provided full audio and lighting production for Dennis DeYoung’s recent concert at the Baton Rouge River Center in Louisiana. The performance featured classic hits from DeYoung’s tenure as front man for Styx including Come Sail Away and Mr. Roboto, as well as songs from DeYoung’s solo albums. The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra provided musical accompaniment along with DeYoung’s current five-piece rock ensemble.
