Transatlantic Award Winner Mark Ronson Tours UK with NEXO

LONDON – Mark Ronson recently won a Grammy for his role as producer on Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' album just days before winning a BRIT Award as Best Male Artist for his own release “Version.”  Somehow he has found the time to complete a tour of the UK with his own band. Ronson's 12-piece band, including string and brass sections, plays with a variety of guest vocalists. FOH Engineer Matthew Kettle sits behind a DigiDesign D-Show mixing a NEXO GEO T line array system, supplied by SSE Audio Group.

Australia Day Celebrates with Meyer Sound

QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – Australia Day, the country’s official national day, is a celebration of the first European settlement on the continent. This year’s Australia Day weekend concluded with the popular Sydney Ports Jazz on the Water concerts and a spectacular fireworks display. An audience of over 150,000 packed the Cockle Bay in Darling Harbour for the concerts and fireworks, powered by a Meyer Sound system. Provided by Sydney-based Coda Audio, the sound system was staged on an 80-foot high floating platform.

Tree of Prosperity Show Blooms at Wynn Macau with Electrosonic Audio

MACAU, CHINA - Electrosonic Systems Inc. provided audio, master show control, an intercom system and a closed-circuit video surveillance system for the complex Tree of Propserity Show in the Wynn Macau, which opened in 2006. Electrosonic’s audio complement, consisting of Crown amps and JBL speakers, was fairly extensive with eight main speaker positions and subwoofers installed on the mezzanine level to play the music for the attraction.

BEIJING - In preparation for hosting the 2008 Summer Olympics, China has been cleaning up and modernizing its transit system in Beijing. To honor those who made a valuable contribution to traffic management in the previous year, the city held The Award and Variety Show for Traffic Safety for the Chinese Olympic New Year. Adamson partner Hunan Tian Yin Art Performance Company provided the Adamson system for the show.
