LELYSTAD, The Netherlands - Updating the "town crier" of yore, the first Streetcaster screen in Holland is offering audio and visual news reports and public announcements in the city of Lelystad, with the help of Alcons LR7 micro line-arrays. The screen is the first Dutch project for Streetcaster and will be followed by other screens in other Dutch cities.

MUNSTER, Germany - A live touring version of a series of German radio plays based on American teen detective novels was supported by a Meyer Sound system with MICA and M'elodie line array loudspeakers. Called Die Drei ??? und der Seltsame Wecker - Live and Ticking, the tour traveled throughout Germany and drew crowds of up to 13,000 people.

Organized by Germany's National Press Association, the annual event was attended by 2,500 of Germany's top politicians, cabinet ministers, media and corporate personalities, including Horst Köhler, Germany's president.

HANOVER, Germany - With a lifespan of up to 25 years, scorpions have more sting and staying power than most other insects. The hard rock and heavy metal band that shares their name is at least as durable: it first rose to fame in the mid-1970s, and was first formed in 1965. Set to tour once more in 2010 to support their forthcoming album, Get Your Sting and Blackout, the band will once again rely on Sennheiser gear.
